A: Essence Spa is a boutique spa located in Amsterdam, offering personalized treatments including massages and facials. We're dedicated to providing a relaxing experience that feels like a mini holiday for our clients.

A: At Essence Spa, we focus on tailoring each treatment to meet individual needs and enhance overall well-being. Our founder, Csaba, has been a passionate massage therapist since 2010, bringing years of expertise to every service we offer.

Q: What types of massages do you offer?
A: We offer a range of massage options including deep tissue, relaxation, prenatal, and targeted massages for shoulder, neck, back, and feet.
Q: What facial treatments are available?
A: Our facial treatments include brightening, anti-aging, detoxifying, and refreshing options. Each facial is personalized to address your specific skin concerns.
Q: Do you use high-quality products in your treatments?
A: Yes, we are committed to using only premium, high-quality beauty care products in all our treatments to ensure the best results for our clients. For our facial treatments we use the brand of The Organic Pharmacy and Aromatherapy Associates.

Q: Is prenatal massage safe?
A: Yes, up to 36 weeks with our specialized pregnancy cushion (only in the Hyatt Regency - Sarphatistraat location). After 36 weeks, we adapt the treatment to a comfortable side-lying position.
Massages can be booked only after the 12th weeks of pregnancy.

Booking & Cancellations:
Q: How can I book a treatment?
A: The easiest way to book a treatment, is the booking via our online booking platform on the website otherwise by calling us at +31 6 41 801 441 or emailing info@essencespas.com. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We have a 24 hours cancellation policy, any late cancellation or no show will be charged fully.

Couples & Group Bookings
Q: Do you offer couples massages?
A: Yes.
• Andaz: Two separate rooms with simultaneous treatments, you can make an appointment online, while choosing "Group Appointment"
• Hyatt Regency: A convertible shared room (only upon request)

A: We have two locations in Amsterdam:

Q: What are your operating hours?
A: Our operating hours for treatments is 9-21 in the Hyatt Regency.
Our operating hours for treatments is 11-20 in the Andaz hotel on the weekdays, and 11-22 on the weekends.

Q: How much do your treatments cost?
A: Our treatment prices vary depending on the service and duration. For specific pricing, please contact us directly or check our website for current rates.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept debit and credit cards, prepayment via online banking or cash.
Spa Experience:
Q: What should I wear for my treatment?
A: We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. For massages, you'll be provided with appropriate draping to ensure your comfort and privacy during the treatment.
Q: How early should I arrive for my appointment?
A: We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This allows you to relax, complete any necessary paperwork, and prepare for your treatment without feeling rushed.

The use of the sauna area is optional and has an extra 10 euro fee for non hotel guests.

Q: What is the dress code for the sauna?
A: Swimwear is optional, but please always cover yourself with a towel or bathrobe and sit on a towel inside the sauna. Keep the area tidy and quiet for everyone's comfort.
